I liked it! You have a knack for close ups and expressions, great job there. It could use a little editing down, but it was a fun little short regardless. :)

Thank you! And sorry for not responding! ;-; :'D

I want that job!

You can get a job yelling at people who are addicted to candy bars? Since when?! I've been wasting my life!

Some fun stuff in here. It seems the audio still needs cleaned up a bit, so I'd work on that for the next go around. Lower the input volume and try to move about 12 inches further from the mic. It should help a lot.

Also here's another quick thing. On a character turn, you can just insert one (three would be best) in betweens and it will work better than just flat rotation. Unless you were going for that look. Anyway, keep at it!

Yes, I'm going for that whole "paper" look in my animation. So that was intended.

Also, I will have to watch that darned audio. Once you get in the recording mood, you don't really think of what you're doing.

Hahaha, I wish that was an actual job. What with all these health programs going around, this job may be available soon! XD

Good start, keep at it!

You've got a good starting point here, with a lot to build on! You're going to want to watch the audio quality, I know that can be tough with just an average computer mic, but little tricks can make sound better. For one, try not to talk too closely directly into the mic. Hold it about 8 inches away and talk right ABOVE the mic. You'll still get good sound but it won't pop and crackle as much.

It's tricky to do lip syncing just on a loop, but if you want to do that it will help if you move the characters more. Make them separate symbols and just motion tween them a bit while they're talking. It will add a lot. Good luck with it, DJ!

kfdwiki responds:

Thank you for their review!

Yeah, I'm a little bad at lip syncing. It's kinda hard and boring and I turn into one of those "whatever, I'll just wing it" moods.

But again, thanks!

Terrific

Another brilliant piece, and while I wasn't a fan of the narration at the start, it was a great idea by the end. I can't wait to see more.

Perhaps it is the length of time you did it in, but the animation wasn't up to your usual level. By Newgrounds standard, of course, it is still above and beyond most anything else, but compared to previous work of your own, it wasn't as smooth and well done. Just a few thoughts. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thanks :)

Amazing work

This is one of the best productions I've seen on Newgrounds, and I've been around here a while. You've got a great talent for this sort of things, so nice job. The only part that I didn't particularly enjoy was the odd scene between Larry and the dismembered head of his father. That... well, it kind of made the character less likable. I didn't care about him as much after that, which is something you should always shoot for in a story. I'll be honest, I think you should take that out. Or switch it to some other character.

Great job overall.

Jazza responds:

i knew it'd be on the limits of where i should go but ya know, i decided i'm doing this for fun and if i enjoy it a few people out there wont mind it. Ofcourse its not a true reflection of his character, but you know what, its a cartoon, people will get over it eventually.

you are right though. i dont regret it in the end, just because, well... who cares, lol! thanks for your review. i appreciate it!

It was okay

Much better than a lot of what goes through this site, but still not the greatest. That's okay though, as you said, you wanted feedback from it. Your sound quality needs upped, because it's too fuzzy. The animation worked alright, but (obviously) it's the style of the Awesome series, and compared to that (which you have to do, since it's based on it) it isn't as good. If this were an original piece not based on the Awesome series, I would say it was much better. It's only the direct comparison that has it lacking. Good luck in the future! :)

Galneda responds:

Ahhh, so by affiliating myself with an entire sub-genre of animations, which are in higher quality, it denounces the individual quality of my own simply by comparison?

Whereas, standalone, not affiliated with any particular type of animation, but just bluntly a "parody" the quality of the flash would've had a much higher vote?

Or was it doomed to begin with, because "Awesome sauce" or no "Awesome Sauce" it's still a parody on a video game that's not mine, therefore unoriginal? Voiding any original content I provided to an unoriginal sub-genre?

....Ahhh, I won't rack my brain on it that hard. Thanks for the review!

Random, and funny to boot!

I liked it. The art and everything was pretty random, but it was well done random, not like SOME things you find on Newgrounds. Keep at it!

Magnadooodle responds:

:D!!

Good job!

I liked it. Some parts repeated a few too many times, but overall the art and animation worked for the song. And the song is awesome, of course. :)

The part with the guy's head spinning freaked me out. That's some look he's got there... His drooling on the bench made me laugh.

Magnadooodle responds:

Thank you so much! I love the feedback, 'specially from you JKR!
